Well the worlds most powerful politicians are meeting in Pittsburgh to decide the future of humanity. Meanwhile on the streets of the city peacefully assembling students and activists are being gassed, arrested and deafened by riot police. The modified SWAT vans being used for this are claiming that these folks are “unlawfully” assembling and ordering their disbursement on authority of the chief of police. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NSsj4a6v5U&feature=player_embedded

Well it appears that the chief and the rest of our government employees have never read the the first amendment or just choose to ignore it. Legally speaking, the Constitution is the law of the land and no local ordinance or other decree can override it. Of course in practice those who have the will to use force are those who make the rules and individual rights go out the window. It’s become obvious that the powers that be will not tolerate large public demonstrations which criticize their disastrous policies which are leading us down the path to total enslavement and total government. In fact it is very likely that such demonstrations will be used to justify even more police state measures in the near future. By confiscating our wealth through various frauds and taxes, these folks plan to weaken us to the point of starvation, at which point our only concern will be for our own survival. They hope this will lead to most people being willing to work and obey in exchange for food, while others will resort to crime to sustain themselves and justify further empowerment of the police state. If you need an example of this in practice, take a look at the countries Russia where this has already transpired. I write this out of conscious since as Dante put it “The Hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in times of moral crisis do nothing” and I rather educate people than engage the riot police in a street fight.
