Who they are- This firm is owned by an associate of mine who I have known for four years who like me decided to open his own firm and put his clients first. He separates himself from the competition by listening to his clients and giving them what they are asking for. To that end he is tailoring the MT4 platform to plug into the FXCM ECN feed known as the Active Trader. The user sees the best price available and receives lightning fast execution on the platform. This in itself gives the trader a huge advantage over the traditional retail dealing desk model. Usually the minimum account for this platform is $25,000 and the commission is 1 pip. However through ATC the minimum is $5,000, the minimum trade size is 1 "mini" lot (10,000) and the commission will be a flat $8 per lot (1 lot=100,000). The Active Trader platform is available through ATC now, and the MT4 version through ATC is also available. Avail Trading is a NFA licensed futures and forex IB.
